Olimpiadas Londres 2012: Roger Federer vence a Isner y accede a semifinales

Roger Federer se enfrentará en semifinales al argentino Juan Martín del Potro, mientras que el serbio Novak Djokovic se medirá al británico Andy Murray, tras disputarse este jueves unos cuartos de final sin sorpresas en el tenis de los Juegos de Londres-2012.
Federer (N.1), siete veces ganador del Abierto de tenis británico en Wimbledon, se impuso por 6-4 y 7-6 (7/5) al difícil jugador estadounidense John Isner (N.10) en el Court Central de Wimbledon.
Su rival en semifinales, Del Potro (N.8) derrotó al japonés Kei Nishikori (N.15) por un marcador muy parecido, 6-4 y 7-6 (7/4).
"Otra vez más en el año me toca jugar con él (...) Pero, voy paso a paso, tranquilo", dijo el sudamericano cuando se le preguntó por ese partido y su rival, con quien tiene muy buena relación.
Federer comentó: "me ganó en el partido más importante que hemos jugado entre nosotros, la final del US Open (2009). Soy consciente de ello. Es un gran jugador con un gran servicio. Eso hace que sea complicado, obviamente, sobre todo en una cancha rápida como la de césped".
